Not sure what to do. To me, you need to lower the back which you could do by narrowing the gullet, but I think, as another mentioned, that could just cause pinching.

I'm not that knowledgeable about saddle fitting so by no means follow my advice, but just a question to people who know more, could the OP get a wider gullet and use it with a front riser pad, so as to raise the front without causing pinching?

You are right when you say it is not fitting properly - now as to what to do about it....I'd experiment with it. Try a riser pad to help get the saddle off of your horse's withers, and possibly try the narrower gullet as well. This horse is probably never going to be easy to fit a saddle on, but I think you should be able to make it work with a combination of corrective padding and experimenting with the gullet. If you can afford the entire kit for changing it out, that would be your best bet.

Btw- it is, without question, a wintec. The newer synthetics don't look "synthetic" the way the older saddles do. Some of them are almost impossible to tell from real leather until you get within inches of the saddle.

Thanks SO.

Someone mentioned about the sweat pattern? It is normal and even on both sides.
