saddle fit

Ok so I got an older jumping saddle until I can offord a new one. I got in it today, it fits my horse I just wanna know if it fits me. Sorry no pictures. I sit in it and it fits me fine except the back. I have like half an inch between my but and the edge. Is this ok?

Here is a guideline for saddle fit: Saddle Sizing Info - English Saddles

Green Broke
For CC saddles, you should have 2-3 fingers between your rear and the back edge of the saddle, and 3-4 fingers in front. For a deeper AP saddle, you should have at least 4 fingers between your bum and the back of the saddle.

My goodness.. I have way more room than that in all the saddles I ride in.. but they're not mine... haha.

Haha. And I have a lot less. I'm sure some people would have a heart attack if they saw me in my saddles. But I just like it better that way. My trainer tells me it probably puts me in a bad position (I ride in lesson saddles for my lessons) but I've never had anyone tell me I have a bad position. -shrug- I even ride in a smallish western saddle. Hehe
