Saddle Fit Issues?

I did the "sweat test" on my horse last night, and, Lo and behold, there are 2 big dry spots right on the sides of his withers/shoulders. One on each side, about 4 inches in diameter (and they're like perfect ovals...)... he's never really complained about saddle fit or anything, but now I'm guessing that it really doesn't fit. I've had the same saddle for forever, it was a hand-me-down thing, and it's a super nice (old) Circle Y barrel saddle :(. Do you think I need a new saddle? I'm guessing yes, but it's a big bummer. :(. Well, at least it's a little too big of a seat for me and I'd like a smaller one.

I would hire a Professional to come out and assess the saddle on your horse - and have them help you get on the right path for the right saddle for both you, and your horse.

All the best!
