Saddle fit for this thorowgood?

Am on the hunt for a saddle for my 5 year old haflinger; am trying this thorowgood and wondering how the fit is? He rode well in it. It is an older non-adjustable xw or xxw 17.5" seat dressage.

Best to post saddle fit pics without a pad. HOwever, my first impression is that it appears to fit.

Saddle Fitting - 9 Step Guideline for Optimal Fit

Shouldn't be judged on pictures alone :) but it *does* appear to fit nicely

Have you checked for bridging in the middle? It looks to be the right width, but something about the way panels sit on him under the cantle makes me wonder about bridging.

it does feel as though it bridges slightly so I won't be using it. :) Thank you!
