    Saddle fittings HELP!

Hello! This is my first post on here...but I need a little help if anyone can give me some advice please! So I rode for about 8 years when I was younger but 10 years later I feel like I don't know anything anymore! I just bought a collegiate saddle for the horse I'm training on off of ebay but it doesnt come with leathers or irons, I have an OLDDD cortina that I have kept in EXCELLENT condition over the years, should I pull the leathers off that and use them or should I just buy new fittings? I just don't know if there is specific sizing I should be looking for, or anything. If anyone has some advice for me I would much appreciate it!

    Thanks everyone!!!

Leathers and irons should be easily transferred from one English type saddle to any other. Just ckeck them for crack or overly dry leather, as they may have deteriorated while not in use.
