Saddle Frustration

I am looking into buying a Western LEATHER saddle (black) for my very first horse! I have ridden in several and have a good idea of what i am looking for size, fit, cushyness, etc....but i am at a loss of where to look or what brand. I cant afford much im hoping no more than like $500. (which i know is insane) I could maybe go higher if i ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE a saddle, but keeping cost down would be great! I have looked on Ebay found a couple. looked in a few stores but they are either OUTRAGEOUSLY priced or dont have a good selection. i just dont know a good brand or online places too look. I will always check out the return policy every where for sure. Im really not into the synthetic...wont hold up. I would also like a headstall and breast collar that matches of course. I am going to Equine affair conference in Ohio, USA this April 2012, but am concerned they will be to expensive to. I feel over whelmed and just wanna crawl in a hole ...

Don't buy a saddle off of ebay. Most of them are junk and will break or make your horse sore. Try to find a used saddle that is your best bet. I don't know what brands they sell around you but if you are looking for a new saddle see if your local tack shop sells Rockin' R saddles. They are not super cheap but they are not priced bad. I bought mine brand new on sale for $750. I love it.

We have plenty within your budget on our website - Western saddle Horse tack English saddles Pony saddle for sale - SaddleOnline Inc.

They are higher quality imports and certainly useful and functional for what you are paying for them. :) Hope this helps. Also, we offer a 14 day return policy so that if the saddle doesn't fit or you don't like it, you can return it or exchange it.
