Is this Saddle any good?

Well Im looking for a Starter Saddle possibly for Christmas to show in. I don't have my own horse, but my trainer suggested it would be a good idea to possibly invest in my own saddle for shows since this upcoming year we will be attending many (almost every month if possible). I don't really know much about saddle brands. Mainly because I've never had to look into them. So I have NO idea if this saddle is good. I've only heard that Lancers tend to fit many horses? Im pretty sure the saddle isnt that red in real life. I know it's Chestnut in color, but Im thinking the camera picked up the red chair and caused it to screw up the white balance, lol. Either way, would a chestnut saddle color be okay to show in?
Anyways, here's the link:
AP English Saddle $100 obo

One more question~!
I don't know what size saddle seat I am. How do you tell? Im around 5'4, 15 years old, weighing 105-110lbs. If that helps.

nope that's cheap crap. :P

If you don't have a big budget look to get one used or get a wintec. I like the wintec because you can change it to fit all horses.

Lol okay thanks for letting me know!
That's certainly off my list now!

The thing is, I can't find any wintecs that are used in my price range :/ even on ebay. My price range is up to $200, I suppose. I know that's not much to buy a saddle with, but I can't help that :/

What about this:

17" Forward Seat-All purpose Borelli English Saddle - eBay (item 250730986310 end time Nov-29-10 12:47:50 PST)

Or even a package?
17"BROWN CLOSE CONTACT PREMIUM English JUMP Saddle 6 PC - eBay (item 120607422801 end time Dec-08-10 12:25:29 PST)
Probably not that one, I know many cringe at the thought of those starter sets :P

Run away from those "starter" packages. You get what you pay for - junk. They don't last long and usually a horrible fit on horse (and possibly your own bum). Look for the used ones instead!

Here is calculator for the seat size you need: English Saddle Seat Calculator

I'm sorry, but those off eBay are junk too. Don't dive in! Keep looking!

I paid 350 for my wintec. Maybe just save up some more money then buy one. Or check craigslist.

Well its for Christmas, so parents would be paying. Unfortunately I've check craigslist in my area and surrounding areas, and the least expensive one I could find was around $400.

I think 16 inch or 16.5 for your size. What say you, jumpers?

Yepp I was guessing I'd be around there. I can do a 17 though if it's a deeper seat.
What about these:
Crosby English Saddle

English Saddle

The Crosby is a very nice saddle, and a great price for $200.00.

That other saddle is a cheap piece of garbage.
