saddle pad help

Ok, so need some opinions.
Unfortunately I have put on some weight in the past few months . And the last week or so I have started to wonder if since i'm fatter now if I should use more/different saddle pads. Right now I use a regular sqaure saddle pad and a gel pad.

I realize you can't see the gel pad, but it's there. Think this is enough?

I may be wrong, but I don't think you need anything, your not too heavy for him or anything.

You don't. You arn't fat! We all can't be skinny minis, your weight fluctulates, so you don't stay the same weight all the time.

That will be plenty, its not really weight that adds more pressure if you were putting a heavy beginner on who would bounce around I would say a thicker pad but you don't want to screw up the fit of your saddle and the gel pad is nice and pressure relieving anyway :) so basically, no your fine

You don't look bad at all. And even with more pounds I can't imagine you really need a heavier pad. If your horse is fine and doesn't behave funny (like buck on canter, or more tight in movement) then just stick with what you have.

Ditto to kitten val. If your horse seems comfortable and isn't complaining then I'd say you are just fine.

If you are still wanting to get another pad (even though we are telling you that you aren't heavy!) I'd suggest looking into these pads: www.ridinghighllc.com I love love love these pads!!

I agree - I don't think you need another pad.

Question... Can I add a gel pad under my horses saddle without screwing up the fit? She doesn't need it or anything... I just think it would be nice for her.. :)

I was thinking about gel, but after getting some info on this forum and in couple other places I voted for ThinLine pad instead.
