I think I like the weaver memory foam ones? Weaver Americana Felt Bottom Memory Foam Saddle Pad and Western High Density Performance Pads | EQUESTRIAN COLLECTIONS.COM

Drummer, the ESP pads are air ride? I have to go back and look again.

Kitten, I can't decide on those Skitos. I wish I could touch and feel one.

Question:

The felt, is it comfortable? Better?

I have the neoprine one is what I have. I thought it was good but I'm hearing that it's kind of cheesy. It was only about $50 and it's probably 6 or 8 years old. How often should you replace them? (something like this)

I've never seen one "in person" or I'd share the experience.

Hmmmm.... I just googled out of curiosity... Back on Track makes Western Pads (that go under the regular one): Back on Track Therapeutic Western Saddle Pad and Western High Density Performance Pads | EQUESTRIAN COLLECTIONS.COM . Never tried Western, but the english one I have really works. You can also consider Thinline western (it goes on top of regular pad): works really nicely.

Frankly I'm not a fan of neoprene pads.

This one may be the same as the above...

That is one to consider as well. I'm not liking the reviews on the air rides.

I'm not a fan of neoprene either..It gets slick when your horse sweats and will start to slide around.

The Reinsman Navajo pad isn't bad but I would rather spend the money on the ESP because it's better quality and I just have found that they have worked great for all three of my horses..

I can't believe I'm nervous over a saddle pad. What has gotten into me????

Lol I get like that too over any tack..until I see, feel, and try it out I always bounce back and forth..When I bought my saddle I was having a small panic attack but when I got it and used it I LOVED it..So I completely understand being nervous about spending money on something and you haven't seen or touched it!

I used my weaver today! Riley is still the teeniest bit sore on his abscessed foot so I only walked and tiny jogs. I did trail obstacles mostly but he seemed to feel a little rounder and happier? I think?

One thing I really liked about the weaver was the tag that said MADE IN THE USA... How often do you see that anymore???

Also it says they are sending me a free stacey westfall CD.... I dunno, should be neat to watch?
