    Question Saddle pads

I have a "new" english saddle. My friend sold it to me for $50 but is in REALLY good condition! It's only a practice saddle at the moment (I'm getting more into english riding) It was just the saddle, no girth, stirupts (sp?) or leathers.

We bought all of that at Greenhawk :)

Anyway my question was: Do I need another saddle pad? I have a purple pad which I think you guys call it a numnah? I think? Do I need a more comfy, thicker one for my horse?

It really depends on how it fits and how your horse is built. I use thin pad on mine, BUT I put Thinline contour pad on top of it for extra protection.
