Saddle to small or to big.

GAHHH Im starting to think this mare needs a custom made saddle!

Rode Chance today.. if you didnt see the post.

Well I thought I solved the saddle fitting issue before, but I guess not. Once again its sliding WAY to far forward and I want to fix this before it makes her back sore!

Would she need a bigger or smaller gullet???!

I can take some pictures tomorrow if needed, but this is ridiculous!

Thanks in advance!

I wanna say smaller. Have you tried other brands of saddle? We have 2 saddles at the barn that are a medium gullet-- a Stubben and a Crosby. The Crosby fits better. Maybe it's just saddle construction?

Well right now I believe it has a medium or medium wide gullet it in, I cant quite remeber. Ill check it out tomorrow. I know someone at my barn has a nice CC saddle with a medium gullet I can ask if I can try it just to see how it fits.

I have a wintec AP right now.

Wintecs can be fickle because of the shape of the rest of the saddle. Definitely try something else. ;)
