saddles help!!!!

Hi guys,
I have three saddles but two of them fit my sisters gelding, and one fits my mare and the mare my dad will be riding for me.Anyway that means I have one saddle two horses that need a saddle for this clinic we are going to.

But I did use one of my sisters saddles for a while once [a wintec dressage] but it was to small even with the largest gullet plate we could buy, but would it work if we didn't have a gullet plate at all or would the saddle snap because it's synthetic would it just bend to the mares shape or once I rode in it would it snap.

I would suggest calling Wintec or at the least, one of their dealers (not just a tack shop).

Sounds like you need a Wintec Wide. They are made for wide/flat backed horses.

I wouldnt use the saddle without a gullet. I think it would weaken the structure, and I also believe it would cause it to sit low and awkwardly on the wither.
And if the saddle is still too narrow even with the largest gullet fitted, I doubt it would be wide enough without a gullet anyway. There is a reason that you can only fit so wide a gullet, and that reason is that it just wont bend out any wider.

FYI, if your dressage saddle is not an Isabell, then it can't be the same model as an Isabell. Each model is exactly that, its own model.

I'm happy with the saddle I have and will buy an other one for the other mare soon it's just that I don't have enough time the clinic is tomorrow
