Semi-QH bars

I prefer cordura saddles, just because of their lightweight. I only ride for pleasure and mostly trailride. Currently, I ride in an Abetta western saddle that I bought off of someone on craigslist. It fits my horse perfectly and I always assumed it was full QH bars, because that is what I was told.

I fell in love with an Abetta Endurance saddle but it was too wide for my tb mix . I tried the full QH bars since that is what I thought I was riding in, but this one really pinched her withers badly since it was too wide. All my weight came right down on her withers.

So, I guess my current saddle must have semi-QH bars and It seems Abetta does not make their Endurance saddle in Semi bars..or at least, I can't find one anywhere.

Does anyone use a synthetic saddle with semi-QH bars? Any recommendations? I love the look and feel of an endurance saddle but am willing to consider any comfortable one.

Just a thought would Semi quarter horse bars be properly called 1/8th bars ?

If you like the Abetta endurance style, check out the Circle Y high horse line of half leather, half cordura saddles for a narrow twist. Or the Crestridge saddles for a bit wider seat. Also in half and half. Both make different trees.

Big Horn makes full and semi cordura saddles, and also endurance.
For very good descriptions and prices you might check on Welcome to our store!
I had a couple, sold them eventually and now have a leather Big Horn, and will stick with them, leather or cordura, because I found them fitting such a wide variety of horses, ESP. High withered ones.

The Abetta 20510R is a 6.5" Semi-QH Tree in the Endurance Line

Many people advertise it as 6.75" and Reg. QH Bars, but the Tree they buy from Ralide is a Semi-QH tree.

I have the specs on the tree direct from Abetta as I sold them at one time :)

I was interested in Abetta, I have one that is way too wide for my Walker. Was dealing with Horsetack.com, sent in photos, whither tracings, etc etc, guess they didnt want my business as they didnt bother responding. I know people that like the big horns, but seems like they only go up to 16"

Try The Horse Saddle Shop for an Abetta, they will help in sizing and Employees that actually own Horses

They do offer up to 19" seats with several tree options.
Semi QH, QH and full QH, Arabian, gaited, draft, mule, and Haflinger trees.
My semi QH Big Horns fit on my TB, Arabs, a warmblood.
