Sheepskin half pad sizing?

Would a cob sized half pad fit my 15.3 fit QH?
Sorry I'm bad at sizing!

I'm pretty sure you fit a half pad to your saddle, not the horse. But I'm not positive! :P

Sorry I meant to add that it would be used with a 16.5 saddle

It should probably fit, cob is sorta like a horsey term for small (i was told), it should fit. :) if you're odering on a website does it have a measuring chart?

You will most likely need a "horse" sized pad to fit your saddle.

If you are unsure about the sizing, you can either 1)take your saddle with you into the store or 2) take your saddle home, and fit it there. You won't be able to take it back if it is dirty.

Dont take the tags off until you are sure! I bought a really nice fitted sheepskin pad, and took the tags off, to find out it didn't fit. :(

Half pads most commonly sized in Small, Medium, and Large. I would recomend a Medium for your saddle. Of course trying different sizings in a store works better than just guessing.
