Im taking my horses on a 6 hour trailer ride tomorrow and was wondering if I should wrap their legs when doing this? And what are the exact types of wraps I should use, I believe i only have standing wraps right now, as seen in the picture below.
I probably would, just to provide a little extra tendon support. I also like to free haul my horses so they can adjust themselves and balance as necessary but unless your horse is used to that I probably wouldn't do that this time. The standing wraps will add a little more support for the long journey
I would wrap them, just to be safe. I also would get wraps that cover more just in case something was to happen. I've learned that hard way. i've always wrapped my horses legs. But i didn't this one time and i had to end up putting y horse down. I'm not going into detail. But i wrap to be safe.
I have used shipping boots and loved them. Have fun!!
He is a BEAUTY, btw!!! I have a palomino, too!!
