Show bows

I was told I needed to where a hair net and a show bow to shows. I understand the hairnet. But I thought the bows were really outdated and nobody wears them any more. Can't I just put hair inside my helmet. Or try to anyway, lol. Don't know how much luck I'll have with that.

Really?! Someone actually recommended a show bow? What do you show? In the hunter (and dressage) shows I've been to NO ONE wears a show bow! Esp the hunters! Definitely tuck it under your helmet, put a hairnet over it to keep the flyaways under, and forget the show bow!
