Show girth shopping. Looking for opinions

I have a newmarket colored saddle and am looking to match it with a girth. I want a quality girth (preferably around the $100 mark or below) for showing whenever my boy is big enough to show.

Here's one that I found at Schneider's:
Joseph Sterling Chafeless Girth in English at Schneider Saddlery

Is this a good show girth or should I be look at something else? I don't jump or anything, so I don't really need the contour type of girth as far as I know.

Thanks for the help!

This girth should be perfect for what you're looking for.

The girth looks nice, although I prefer either no elastics or elastics on both ends. One sided elastics tend to tighten unevenly.

How old is your horse? Do you even know what size he will need? You might want to wait if he is not under saddle yet.

Oh I did not read the OP completely! That could be a problem!

I like the one sided elastic girths as much as the two sided but IMO if its got the triple elastic it helps out quite a bit. That's just my opinion though!

So apparently my brain is not functioning and Allison I didn't read YOUR post carefully! (what is wrong wtih me today????) You mean that you think that when you tighten it you think one side will be tighter then the other? Sorry, I read it to mean that they elastic stretches out differently. Interesting, I've never heard of that. I like the double elastic b/c it's easier to tighten the girth and it seems to me that it would be more comfortable... but I've used the one sided on even very girthy horse and never had a problem.
