Show me your Personalized/Monogrammed Halters!

I really want to order some for my horses but I am having a hard time envisioning the colors combinations and such. I would love to see what you guys already have, to get an idea of what colors go well together and what colors clash. Obviously dark + dark is a no-go.

I'd prefer something with purple for my mare, hunter green for my gray pony gelding, and blue/navy for my gray gelding but I can't decide if a tan or silver overly would look better than a "real" color.

I saw a purple halter with black overlay and lime text on the nose on Scheiders's website that look pretty nice, and I've used this site (Monogrammed Horse Halters | Embroidered Horse Halters | Monogrammed Dog Collars) to experiment but I would much rather see how the halters other people have bought have turned out--whether the colors are true to what you had in mind, or if they were not what you expected/what would you change?

I'd probably be ordering from Chick's website as that is the best price I could find. My horses wouldn't be wearing their halters in the pasture, just when I take them out to ride or whatever.

Is this even the right topic for this, or should I try the pictures topic?

I don't have a custom halter but that site is very helpful, I think if you play around with it for a bit you may find something for your horse's. Now I want to order like 4 of them haha

Isn't it great? There's just so many choices that I can't decide. I'm also nervous that the colors on there won't quite look right once on thread, though. Purple with silver overlay seems like it would be pretty but I think it would probably look more gray... and the darker green would be hunter green maybe? A tan overlay on that would be nice and simply. I don't like "loud" colors.

Maybe you can email the company to take pictures or the nylon, im a matching tack natzi! I am ordering a pad and the company is sending me three different samples of the "blue" they have because I want it to be a true royal blue. I always ask before ordering anything

I tried asking Chick's through their facebook, and they just directed me to their "fan photos" album to see examples. There are a few pics but not of the colors I would choose... like hot pink, orange, etc.

I really like the colors in the purple one here (Weaver Embroidered Nylon Halter in Nylon / Turnout at Schneider Saddlery)... with the lime green text on the purple/black. But green doesn't really have anything to do with my appy mare's "colors" sooo... I'd probably go with white text for her, if I did the purple/black.

Chick's doesn't have all colors available for overlays (like tan and such), but I asked them if they could get it and they said they would try their best to see what they could do. I've had great experiences in the past ordering with Chick's, which is another plus side to them having the lowest-priced halter.

Pfft who needs new clothes when you get one of these for your horses!!

Thank you for feeding us years of lies. Thank you for the wars you left us to fight. Thank you for the world you ruined overnight. But we'll be fine, yeah we'll be fine.

Exactly! I hate clothes and tell my family to either get me stuff for my horses or give me money so I can get it for Christmas/birthdays. ;)

I have one from Chick's that I actually really, really like. Good quality.

The only photo I have shows the nose, but you get the jist. I also have his registered name on both cheeks.
