Showing in hackamore?

Can you show in a jumping hackamore? Also, does the judge frown on a black bridle with a brown saddle? I'm not sure if I can afford a different one right now : (

Unless its a very local show - I say no to a jumping hackamore (unless you're jumping)

If there isn't a stark difference in the colors, it shouldn't matter for local shows (but I would be cautious of showing in a light brown saddle with a black bridle or the other way around)

I can't speak to a jumping hackamore but as for color differences, if you are just jumping, I think you can get away with it.

Jumping is one of the few disciplines that is objective rather then subjective - you cleared the jump or didn't, you rocked the rail or you didn't. Although your appearance may not be "pleasing" to a judge, you are judged on performance rather then appearance.
