Sidepull Fit

Hey all!

My new sidepull came in the mail today but, due to the fact that it's a one-size-doesn't-fit-all, it seems a little big on my boy (see pictures below!). Anyway, I thought I'd at least give it a shot before I returned it... and he LOVED it! He was paying more attention to me and the things I was asking him to do, and focusing on learning the little patterns we were doing. He was the best today!

Today's ride makes me all the more sad that it doesn't fit him properly! What do you think of the pictures? I could punch a hole in the noseband but I'm concerned it's hanging a little low, although I have no experience with sidepulls. As for the browband, I could take it off as I ride western anyway. Any thoughts, or should I just return it?

It does not look to bad. The brow band is to big. Just get a smaller one and you should be ok. I would keep it on just in case. As it helps give support with this type of bridle.
