Silver Royal veri-flex tree?

Does anyone have any experiences with these? I found one for sale and apparently they can fit a wide range of horses, but I heard that flex trees can be very bad for a horses back but I have also heard some good things.

Flex trees: Do not get one. I don't care what anyone says. They are known to stretch out with use, and sit on the horse's back wrong. Beleive me. Simon's back got a huge lump from it. Don't be tempted.

Consider yourself warned.

Most people are like Slinkies; they serve no real purpose, but they bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on for dear life.
