Sleazy/Slinky?

So i was browsing sleazies and slinkies and it has the option of "no zipper" and "full seperating zipper".

I want one for taming his mane and so he can wear it the night before a show, so his plaits don't get messed up. So what is better, with a zipper or no zipper?

I only use the Zipper ones. when u slide the others on your braids or bands can get twisted or pushed back. I braid for every show, put the slinky over and then zip up. you can also unzip half of it to clip or touch up the first few braids if you horse messes with them (like mine always does) I always use the Schneiders ones.

As long as you get one with big eye holes, it doesn't matter if it has a zipper or not. If your horse is happy having you blindfold him while you put it on, then you don't need a zipper. If your horse doesn't want you pulling a hoodie over his eyes momentarily, then get one with a zipper as you can throw it on over his neck then zip it up under his chin

And I have a weathabeeta one

I have a zippered one and I couldn't imagine trying to put it over my horse.
She's good with stuff covering her eyes, but it looks like a PITA without a zipper.

I use one with a zipper, my horse would kill me if I tried to pull one over. It's also more convenient and they work exactly the same (actually the zipper one might work better since nothing gets twisted when putting it on)

I'd get one with a zipper for similar reasons as toosleepy. I braid for every show and so far the zipper ones keep the braids in place and don't get messed up over night.
