SMB Boots vs Splint Boots

I'm just curious as to what everyone's opinion is of each different type of horse boot. I've only ever used splint/tendon boots and SMB style boots [made by a different company].

Which boot do you think is better [out of every different style of boot available]? For jumping? Schooling/flatwork? Would you use SMB boots for jumping or strictly tendon boots? Why or why not? What do you think of polos?

Just curious to hear different opinions!

I only rely on galloping/splint boots for protection against nicks and interference. I use SMBs for support when jumping and doing heavy work with stops and turns. Polos are fine for protecting against nicks and interference, but again, they don't provide support like a SMB does.
