Talking Sooo excited! Had to share

I am so excited and just wanted to share with people who actually share in the excitement of getting new tack, lol! I acquired a 17" Rodrigo Pessoa jumping saddle with fittings, girth, and fleece show pad on ebay for only $250! I was just putzing around after that auction ended, and came across an awesome 17" Kincade AP with nice deep seat, knee rolls, and fittings. HAD to have it! Got that one for only $170! I'm just so excited! When my house burned down 2 years ago, my Steubben and Crosby both went with it. I haven't been able to afford new ones with everything going on, and had all but given up hope of owning my own tack again. My trainer(I share board her TB), won the auctions for me, and I was able to pay her! I am now bidding on a brand new IRH helmet that is at $2.25 right now, as well as a saddle bag, boot bag, and helmet case that all match, for $1 each, brand spankin' new! I am just so excited that after all this time, my dream isn't over! My new breeches came in today as well as my riding socks, and everything is perfect! Sorry for going on for so long, but I am just so happy that I have people to share in my good news! God is wonderful, and so are horses!! :) :) :) :)

Congrats! I lost my Stubben in a house fire while in college (didn't own a horse at the time) and my folk's insurance got me another one but didn't have a horse for it until about 4 yrs ago. So great to have your own tack on your own horse again, huh? Shoot, I have a used 17 inch Crosby all purpose close contact saddle for sale, great condition. I got it for a steal at a consignment store, doesn't fit any of our current horses so if you're still interested, let me know!! Happy riding!

Thanks Dana...IF I come home with another saddle, my husband will divorce me, lol! I loved my Crosby though! There are some AWESOME deals on saddle right now, with A LOT of mid-high end tack, many including fittings or free shipping. Seriously, there's another Pessoa 17" for $500 right now. Lots of Collegiates, Steubbens, Crosbys, etc. Thanks for the well wishes on my house. That's been a total nightmare too. It was set on fire with all of us in it(myself, husband, and 2 kids), and the insurance denied the claim based on the fact that the local police(who are totally incompetent), haven't made an arrest. They are trying to say we did it. We have a GREAT lawyer, and I KNOW we will win! Well, gotta go watch the auction for the brand new IRH! IT's only $2.25! Woohoo!

Yeah, the fire was arson. I was the director/manager for a small animal rescue(bunnies, rats, birds, hamsters, etc) that was in my home(basement was remodeled to accommodate the critters), and I was inspected regularly same as the SPCA. My assistant was asked to leave the rescue due to animal cruelty(hoarding). She then had her firefighter boyfriend set our garage on fire twice(contained all of the rescue supplies and 25 bales of hay). When that didn't get the point across, he doused my back porch with my own gasoline, and set it on fire, directly below my kids bedroom windows at midnight. My kids were 1 1/2 and almost 3 1/2 at the time. Someone was looking out for us that night, and we were all able to make it out safely, including all of the animals. It's been a total nightmare, but I have faith that the truth will be revealed and we will be able to go home. BTW, I LOST the auction for the helmet! I'm sad! :(

Those are amazing deals! Is it a store like horselovers? Or just random people?
