    Just some advice when determining whether you can show in it or not..... for one what you use is a mechanical hackamore..... a true hackamore is different and is more similar to a plain rope halter..... where I live you can only use a mechanical hackamore for speed events such as barrels, poles, and roping..... I wouldn't be able to tell you much about English or where you show though

    Usually the only place you can use a hackamore like that is in the Jumper ring. Maybe Equitation, but definitely not Dressage or Hunter...

    My old eventer he always used a hackmore before I got him so im pretty sure you can show in one for eventing too

    I bought one of those hackamores to use on Poco once and I got it on him and he went balistics! I have never seen a horse so freaked out and POed at the same time. He got it off. I don't know what it was that he didnt like but he sure didnt want anything to do with it.
