Splint boots: to prevent ankle knocking, and extra leg support and protection.
Bell boots: Basically the same as over reach-boots only without the ankle support....and just incase you dont know over-reach boots prevent a horse from tearing up the back side of the front ankles with their back feet due to over reaching with the back legs.
I know this cause I actually use both splint boots and over-reach boots...my friend uses bell boots lol Only her horse does over reach I just use mine for the extra leg protection and support.
Splint Boots and Brushing Boots do nothing, but prevent from knocks and knicks. They do not support what-so-ever.
