Sport/smbii boots. Best Brands?

I'm doing a 3-day-eventing camp this month, and I've never done XC with my horse before...I'd like to get him some boots to protect his legs, just in case. I've been looking at a few different brands. It looks like the Legacy System Boot might be good? Or Proffessional's Choice? I know there's 2 I get confused...anyway, I have some boots that a friend of mine gave me. I'm not really sure what they are though. They have neoprene lining on the inside with some kind of vinyl on the outside? They seem really cheap to me, and he gets REALLY hot in them. They are just full of and dripping sweat when I take them off. So I'm looking for some that he's not going to overheat in. I know Dover has some Legacy boots on sale. Does anyone have any input on their favorite brand or reviews for Legacy or Proffessional's Choice? Thanks so much!
