It's not going to magically improve your horse, but a horse going well in a cheaper similar bit IME often goes a little better in the HS. If you hold on to the sides of the bit and twist your hands around you can feel how smooth the bit moves. They're excellent quality and I love the weight and balance of them. My horses like them so it's been my favorite brand for years. There are certain things I don't mind getting cheap and there are some things that I think are work the investment, bits are one of them. I never shell out the full price on them though. I can always find them on sale on ebay or tack trader, often around $60-70 depending on the bit, once or twice as low as $50. Unless you're looking for a D ring, I can never find a good deal on those!

Same here. I paid $70 for my RS Dynamic on a tack trading group.

My horse goes well in Sprengers. I had one Sprenger knock off that worked well, then two cheaper bits that were not hits with him at all. I'd like to try the Neue Schule bits - a lot of my friends have had fantastic luck with them and prefer them to Sprengers. They are also cheaper.
