St. Lourdes saddles? Opinions?

I just picked up a St. Lourdes saddle from the tack store. Fits me well and on a quick 10 minute ride on Skye today appears to fit her well too. Its on consignment for $300 and the seller is firm. It has some scratches on the flaps but otherwise appears almost new, the wax is still on the seat and under the flaps. Is that a fair price for this type of saddle? I am only looking for something to school in to save my western show saddle the wear and tear and save my back from heave-hoeing it up onto Skye. I would also use it for the one english class that is included in the blanket fee of my local saddle club.

Anybody have any thoughts on this saddle? Going to give it some more ride time tomorrow, but I have to decide by Saturday if I am going to keep it.

QHD, I've seen the saddle in my local tack shop, and frankly I'm very unsure about the quality.

Actually the quality doesn't seem too bad, and it turns out these saddles are made by the same people that make toulouse.
