I'm looking at getting a stock saddle (wintec) with the cair system & easy gullet change system... I have an Appy x Qh & a stockhorse & i've been told that the stock saddle wont be suited to my Appy x Qh as it wont fit properly? Does anyone know anything about this or use one without any problems? Im abit confused as I thought a stock saddle would fit fine especially with the gullet change system... Ifg anyone has any advice at all it would be great! :)
I can't help much, unfortunately, but I'm wondering for the answers too. I've seen Wintec stock on pics and looks like very comfortable one (pricey though). I'd really want to try one myself. So if you decide on one - please, share your experience.
Thanks Kitten val :) I think I will try one i've sat in one and they're pretty comfy and i've heard good reports about them and a few people I know of use them so I think i'll get one and i'll make sure I let you know of the outcome :)
I would think that it would fit fine due to it having the changable gullet system...? I use leather stockseat saddles and they can be made to fit all horses, mules and donkies that I know of. I am wondering if anyone has any kind of information on this also
A stock saddle is no different than ANY saddle in regards to fitting a range of horses. I've seen 9hh ponies in them, 16h TB's, QH, etc. The Wintec Stock will fit similar to all other Wintec saddles. I recently sold my Bates stock, (the leather version) and it fit a wide range of horses using the easy change gullet system. So don't worry :]
