Stockman saddle advice

Greetings from France, I am a pom based in France so please don't hold that against me. My new horse is set to arrive tomorrow from Spain. He is a 6.5 yr old PRE ( Andalusian )
I have been looking at the Stockman saddles and really like the look of them and. I want to use the saddle for trail ridding and may be some pole bending. I will have the saddler take all the relevant measurements for me to ensure the correct size.
I have been looking at the James saddle company they seem to have some good saddles but very expensive are they worth it ?
My horse is typical PRE so he is rather muscular and rounded do you think a stockman saddle would suite the horse? Whats a reasonable price to pay for a good quality saddle? Any recommendations as to make and model ?
Here is a couple of pictures of Armas.

First off, howdy and welcome to the forum .

He is certainly a gorgeous horse.

The only problem is that I am from the US and when I hear "stockman's saddle", I automatically picture an Australian stock saddle.

Would you mind educating me on what you mean by a "stockman's saddle"?

Thanks .

I'm thinking a saddle built to fit an Arabian.

Such a nice horse! I reckon you'd be looking for what i'd call a 'half-breed', looks just like the 'stockmans saddles' you're talking about, try Matthews Saddlery in Australia :)
