Storing Tall Boots

So I can't ride for months and months. :(

How should I store my boots so they stay good and supple and nice while I can't ride?

Clean and condition them well, then put a pair of boot stands in them and stick them in a boot bag in your bedroom closet. Don't put anything on top of them or crush them.

If you don't have good boot trees, roll up a bunch of newspapers and push them into the top of the boot, all the way to the bottom. The idea is to push out and support the ankle area where the creases are. Allowing the boots to flop over is not good for the boot.
