    Question Strirrup leathers

I went to get new stirrup leathers...but I don't know what length to get.

How do you figure that out?

    Thanks

Measure a pair on a saddle that you use and work well for you.

Most adults take 54" leathers. Short adults or teens, or those who ride with short stirrups, often take 48" leathers. My daughter is 5'5" and uses 48" leathers (she'll be outgrowing them soon though...). I'm 5'8" with a long inseam (wear "Tall" in jeans) and I use 54" on my jumping saddles (60-63" on my Dressage saddles).
