That's wonderful! And I'm jealous! LOL

I paid $450 for mine, and it was worth every penny.

The older Stubbens aren't cushy, so if you don't like a firmer seat you're probably not going to enjoy riding in it.

What's the tree size? Mine is a 31 cm, and fits my TB like it was made for him.

I'm used to a firmer seat, so have had no issues with mine. Her are some pictures of my Stubben. As you can see, yours is the same style.

I just got mine and it looks just like that! It's in beautiful condition! Its either a Medium or Medium Wide Gullet, it looks kinda wide but the tree measures to be 30 cm (but I'm not sure I measured it right).

If it still has its original billet-guards, the tree-size should be stamped on there. To measure, raise the flaps so you can see the very ends of the tree-points, and measure between them. It's not easy to do. I usually tape a stick or ruler to the ends of the points so that the sticks stick out the front of the saddle so I can easily measure between them.

It's beautiful.

Lovely saddle, Laura. As Freia said, if the saddle still has the original billet flaps the tree size will be stamped on one of them, along with the serial number.

Wow, and I thought I'd gotten my old German-made Stubben for a steal when I paid $350 for it!

Of course, neither billet guard is on the saddle. But the tag by the pommel definitely says stubben. Freia, thank you for the help, the way I measured it to be around 30 cm was using that method, but I only had an inches ruler and translating it from (12 in I think?) To cm gave me around 30.48. Thanks everyone! Im very excited :))
