Suggestions for a good girth?

Okay currently I have my horse in a plain, cheap, Kincade Chafeless girth ($30Au)

But recently he has been showing signs of annoyance when I do up the girth, when previously he could'nt have cared less. Having spoken to a girl at my local tack store, I was informed that the kincade girths are no good (she did explain why, I just can't be bothered typing it).
SO.... I'm on the lookout for a new girth and need opinions.
I like the Wintec:
Wintec Pro Chafeless Dressage Girth
For it's shape and the fact that it's elastic right through, instead of at the ends (which, I am told by the girl at the tack store, spreads the pressure more evenly instead of focusing it all in the centre on their sternum, which is the effect the elastic ends give (correct? I'm just going by what I was told).
I've also seen these:

But i'm unsure about them for the reasons I stated above.

So any info on the above girths, or advice as to better ones would be muchly apreciated!!! Thanks!

I have the wintec pro elastic girth that you have in the first link. I have never had a problem with it on either of my ponies. It hasn't stretched out of shape and I have had it for quite a few years. I also have other wintec girths made of the same rubbery elastic but with regular elastic ends without a problem either.

Yeah, I had a Kincade as well, and didnt like it.
I replaced it with a wintec elastic. I have 2 different lengths actually for my dressage saddle. And a long one that came with my jumping saddle.
I have the wintec chaffless girth for my jumping saddle now. I like it too, and being shaped I think it makes it much more comfy for them. I love all 4 girths and they hold up well. I recommend them.

If you are just looking for a dressage girth I can't suggest anything but if you want a really nice English girth I highly suggest Edgewood. I have a sheepskin lined one and it is amazing quality. Their other leather goods (bridles, etc.) are also really nice.

I actually have this Professionals Choice SMX Girth - Dover Saddlery... on my english saddle and very similar on my western. So far both my horses didn't complain about either.

I have a super sensitive TB who hated my girths - even the nice, expensive belly guard one I had for him. The ones that don't bother him that he does like are the Professional Choice one that's all elastic, and then the Le Tixerant girth that he LOVES. It's a lot of $$$$ but well worth it in the difference in how he performs under saddle. It's an amazing girth, and while def pricey, I think worth every penny if you're looking high end. For lower end I 100% agree with what someone else said about the Pro Choice. It doesn't even bother Mr. Sensitive lol!

I use a good leather girth with a real sheepskin girth cover on my mare. She's very picky about her girths and galls (sores) easily. Neoprene galls her BAD, no matter what kind of neoprene it is.

Had the kincade anti gall girth and just bought the wintec elastic,its much better.and not too expensive
