Summer turn out rugs

since i moved to the new yard, bucks been put onto grass livery, he hates being rained on, and shivers pathetically.

i was wondering if a light light weight turnout on those nasty days with slight to heavy rain would be okay for him? sunny days he can obviously go without that would be harsh coz he is a welsh cob after all.

or are their waterproof fly sheets? either way, im getting my first wages soon and i have lost my fly rug and a few other things from moving my horse (suprise there?! i think not!!!) and want to know what i should get him.

did i mention he HATES getting wet? in ANY kind of way? he dont like baths or even a sponge off, *eye roll* what am i gonna do with him? haha

I say light weight turnout (I'm thinking basically a turn out sheet). That way it has more uses than just in the summer for the rain. =)

My girl is like that too. She'll shiver like the most pathetic thing ever in the summer when it rains. But does she mind in the winter when it rains? Of course not, because that would make sense! Haha

This one had great reviews!
Amigo Turnout Sheet - Dover Saddlery.
And this one has a high neck, so it would keep the rain off of you horse even better.
WeatherBeeta Landa Lite Combo Turnout Sheet - Dover Saddlery.

Hope I Helped!
