super bling homade gypsy horse halter!

Soooo yesterday me and the boy walked to the hobby store and I beaded my gypsy horse's halter which my step mom graciously donated to her... Eitehr way I was stunned by the reseults I will need to get somoe high quality pictures of it on her as it looks even better...

I wanted to make a 'gypsy' inspired halter so I sewed gypsy coins onto it and they dangle down just below the halter which it turns out is nice for swatting flies! And the beading is going to last longer lol I turned her out in it bathed her and worked her in it and not an imperfection thus...

You should sell those.

I'll probably swing by and take some pictures with a high quality camera (my dad's) as he really wants to see it too! So tomorrow I;ll update this with pictures on her that you can see the detail... I even ended up adding extra padding to the noseband it looks really sharp.

Haha I could sell them I suppose but idk what to charge >.< or who would want any

You have to figure in the cost of the halter (if you provide it), the cost of your materials (will vary based on design) and a little bit for your time. You just advertise wherever - message boards, craigslist, ebay - and people will see. You could also do a local service of charging to gypsy-up someone's existing halter, in which case you just charge for materials and time.

Did you hand sew a ribbon on and then make tassles? I think it's super cute!

that might be pretty cool, it was really fun but sooo hard to sew the wire thread through the three ply nylon halter... raw fingers today needless to say.

Well the coins are beaded onto a string with black beads sewn onto the string which was put onto a black cotton ribbon which I put underneath the rhinstone and gold beading which I button sewed on with the same wire thread so its stuck for sure on there then like I said I put a nose pad underneath that which is really plush and blue so invisible on her... It looks really cool I can't wait to post pictures of her wearing it
