I have never ridden in an Abetta or Bighorn. I do own a Fabtron and I really really like it. It has leather cantle, seat, pommel, and jockey. The skirt and fenders are courda nylon...It's great for trails (I don't do anything other than trails and track the occasional cow for fun *no roping*)

The leather is quality. I have abused this saddle more than I'm willing to admit to (lack of care, rough rides in the back of the truck, lack of proper maintence...I'll quit here you get the idea *embarrased smile*)

The Synthetic parts of the saddle wipe clean with a damp rag and they still look great! No rips or snags.

I have plenty of riggin' D's to tie things to and the breast collar D's show NO wear.

The seat I have is a hard leather seat, however it is very comfortable. ( I believe this is a personal preference, I don't much care for sueded seats or padded seats)

The tree is still strong and in great working order. I know this saddle is every bit of 8-10 yrs old.

Soooo... In a nut shell, I love my Fabtron.

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.

1 Chronicles 28:20
