Tack colours for a bay roan?

Anyone got a bay roan? What colours do you go for on him/her? I am needing (again) to choose a halter for my bay roan half-draft. He's quite a red shade, and I'm wavering.

I think some pictures of your bay roans with their tack on could be just what I need to help me decide.

Pics pics pics.

Here's mine:

Winter (early morning) -

I have a bay roan!
I don't have the color of tack that I want at the moment but here is Bunny in a yellow w/ red lines pad.

The tack I want is cherry blossom pink. What I mostly do to choose tack color on a horse is use a base color, I have a program that I can look at the individual colors that make up the horse, and those often look really good on them. (:

Oh my gosh I'm in love! I'd say white would look great on him.

Because the halter is only on his head, and his head is bay, just about any colour a bay would look good in!

White
Black
Royal Blue
Hunter Green
Orange
Gold

I think Bunny would look ace in pink, because of that lovely brown shade going on. Thanks for the photo!

Xlioness, he would indeed look lovely in white, but I don't think it would stay white for very long...

CP, I was thinking blue, he looks quite handsome in navy but I think the sky blue is surprisingly good on him.

Red Gate, my automatic first thought was hunter green but it looks really odd on him, both in real life and on the computer screen. However, orange looks much better than I thought it would and so does a dark burgundy.

Since he is a packhorse, he will mostly be wearing his leather draw halter, which looks like this (only it's lined in sheepskin everywhere because of his weird sensitive-roan-skin). I want a halter for general hand leading and short-term tying him, though.

Using the scientific method of drawing on a photo of him in paint, I have therefore narrowed it down to tan, burgundy, sky blue, or orange. Or black. Or navy. Hm, I haven't really narrowed it down at all, have I?

Drum, he is gorgeous...

I am pleased to report that I have gone for orange . I wavered on maroon, but decided it was too close to the leather of his halter, and also on sky blue, but one of our riding mares is having sky blue so they couldn't possibly have the same colour. The horror...

Turquoise, if available, would have been automatic - but unfortunately they don't do that colour in the rope I wanted.

Thanks to everyone for your input!
