6 saddles, countless bridles, every color of saddle pad you could this of also with matching polos & fly bonnettes... random assortments of tack. I have a tack room at my moms, a tack locker at the barn & my whole trailer tack room is stuffed full. And yes, at the moment I only own one horse and lease another.
Guilty. I'm going to pick up saddle number 14 tomorrow afternoon. I don't need it but it was a really good buy. Snagged a vintage (60s) Price-Mclaughlin One can never have too many saddles right? (This is where everyone nods their heads and says yes..)
Of course she needs a good cleaning & oiling but I love the old, well made saddles. I think it will be a good addition to the pile of training saddles in the barn.
Hi.
My name is Evil, and I am not a hoarder myself, but I have this, ah, "friend" who hoards bits... she has bits of all sorts that she wold never DREAM of actually using on a horse; stallion bits and driving bits, and bits that look like medieval torture devices... does my "friend" have a hoarding problem? Is there any help for her?
I hoard saddle pads. I like to have different colors and designs for different days/rides and since I ride western, those suckers take up a lot of room.
I do not need another saddle pad. I do not need another saddle pad. I do not need another saddle pad.
ONE horse and enough tack for ten. Everytime I get something in one color the whole set has to match. My excuse now is it's his Christmas present. He just got a nice new bitless halter and bridle set. Custom at that. :O Other excuses, it's on sale, it's cute, he CAN'T live without it.
I have three FULL tack sets for Walker, and look at more everyday. I can't help it! I'm not crazy right? LOL.
One saddle as of now, looking at more because none of my tack matches my bright red saddle seat. ;)
