im moveing back home and im on the floor board lol of my room i have a new bed comeing on thursday and i am going to caterlog all my tack lol.
this is for my dearest vanessa i have so much here and also in storage lol.
heres a vew at the moment.
You do have a lot of "stuff". Maybe some plastic tubs would help, put the small and medium size stuff in them and then you can stack them up pretty high in a corner, this might give you a little more space.
A list on the outside as to what's in each tub really helps when you are looking for something.
Perhaps an auction???
I would love to "wander" through your stuff!!
Accumulation of a lifetime, or pretty near most of it.
I can see you hang your bridles, halters and leather strap goods.
If trying to condense room, hang your halters from the cheekpiece/noseband connector metal parts, then you can hang your bridles underneath because those halters will not hang as long.
If you hang your bridles in a show tack-room configuration..{http://www.equisearch.com/article/figure8_051407}, they take up less room too so you can hang more in a smaller space.
Tubs when closed, look for doing a damp-rid product helps to keep mildew at a minimum you get on healthy leather.... reducing air circulation then needs a helping hand to reduce mildewing.
Sheets, blankets, saddle pads....all in tubs with mothballs/flakes...a quick airing and good to go use.
I love the smell of healthy clean leather...best air freshener I know of.
Room deodorizer....yes!!
Enjoy the challenge!
Now you showed the before, don't forget the after success pictures, please!!
i have not been home for about 10 years so there are sets of rugs baged up a patent pair harness a tandem set and a working set in pony size 6 saddles 3 collars head collars bridles reins cruppers breaking rolers cribbing collars bell mare collar i had made from a farm crossing warning string of bells i had it cromed and had a collar made for it for a lead mare in a heard so thay will follow her.

2 double bridles theres a lot to clean here 1 bit trunk with you name it its there and t shirts and boots i have transported quite a bit to the barn as well.and a single patent show driving harness.
Ohhhh...
I saw a bit box to search through and ask, "What's this?" "What's this, and this and what's that?"...
Harnesses and collars....driving headstalls...
Only thing coming to mind I didn't see "YET" is the cart or buggy that harness is used to pull...
Your "room" makes many tack shops look enpty by comparison.
I saw many items still wrapped in plastic, brand new and never used, YET!
I would rather clean that room than my home I can tell you that!!
The treasures to uncover!!
