I have a lovely Schockemoehle bridle, fancy stitch, padded, cost me around $250 at a little more than half price and I just... don't want to put it on my jumper. It's very clearly a hunter bridle, that I purchased for competing hunters, and the leather is so nice and fine that I would be HEART BROKEN if I broke it (not that I think I would, but there's always that underlying paranoia with something so pretty), not to mention the BEAUTIFUL matching reins that I would switch out for my grippy jumper reins. -sigh- I'm tempted to sell it for close to what I paid for it and buy something different... but then why would I do that when I already have this beautiful piece of equipment!? Especially when all of my tack save for my current bridle is havana... (bridle is black, gross combo).
-sigh-
Oh the woes of a tack 'collector'.
