I bought my horse on January 13, 2009. I bought a used 18" Billy Cook. Had it 2 weeks, traded for a brand new 17" Billy Cook. Got that home...hummm....a 16" would work better. Back the 17" went and a 16" arrived. 16" is causing issues in October with my boy and I am off and running around looking for a new saddle. I bought a used Steele Old Fashioned in early December after sending my BC back to Billy Cook for a looksee at their request. Hummm...Steele saddles twist is a little wide for me. I bought a 18" Aussie on the 23rd of December and it arrives on the 28th. It is a 19" and it sat on Red for few minutes and back it went today and a new 18" is on its way. So...now...I have had Red not quiet one year and he has had 6 saddles. I currently own 3 saddles for Red.
My husband has a 16" Billy Cook and a really gorgeous 42 year old Ryon that is in literally perfect condition.
Of course, I had 2 headstalls. Honey bought a headstall to match his saddle that he never uses...he uses my extra headstall. Got cavsons, 4 sets of reins, saddle pads out the wazootie, crop, lounge line and whip, halters, leadropes, 2 sets bell boots, buckets, blankets, martingales, breast straps, spurs, grooming tools, straps for the Brenderup, pitch fork for trailer, wraps, saddle bags, water bottle holders, saddle stands, and probably more stuff than I know!
I want green or purple stuff for my boy - and rawhide stuff, and I love flashing blingie stuff.....I need more STUFFF!!!!!!
