$200 for the new saddle means the saddle is c**p. It still may fit the horse, but very unlikely, and won't live long either. If money are very limited I'm always for the used stuff.

Oh, I see... I always look at tack first. I was ripped off once pretty bad on tack by the similar internet store, so being careful.

A friend of mine bought a western saddle from there and it wasn't too bad... I usually buy from Chicksaddelry.com or rods.com... and sstack....

I also use chicks, and Jeffers, and Big Dee's......

I bought my saddle from saddleonline.com. It was 250 and all leather, came with a headstall, reins, and breast strap. I use the headstall and the saddle, the reins and the breast strap are in my tack trunk. Although the leather was a little dry upon arrival, I've had the saddle 6 mos or so and use it 3 times a week, and don't see any wear.

I'm not buying a saddle. I wouldn't buy a saddle I couldn't sit in first. I was just wondering in general if they were reliable in ordering, shipping, etc.

I've heard some mixed reviews about their service.

If you want fast, reliable, and friendly service check out HorseLoverz.com. I ordered some stuff from there one time and got it the next day. All other times it has came within a week and they have yet to get anything wrong.

I have ordered from them several times (grooming supplies, bits, medicine boots, etc) and they were prompt about shipping and the stuff I got was good quality for the price. It has been a while since I ordered anything from them but if I remember correctly, they will e-mail you the shipping order number and you can track your package through the UPS website.
