Theo Sommer Magnus Dressage Saddle

Does anyone know anything about the quality of these saddles and/or have ridden in them. I am looking at one and just need some info on quality and average cost of a new or used.

I have poor balance from an old injury that makes my left side weaker and my horse just starts gaiting and about then my balance goes a bit off in a western saddle. Someone told me to ride in a deep seat dressage that will put me in the right position and also allow my guy to move his shoulders more easily.

I have already tried a lot of different "gaited" and regular saddles to no avail. A couple of the gaited worked for him, but not for me, so I pretty much messed up his gait when he went into it. My poor pocket book is beginning to squeak from all the saddles I have purchased and sold that didn't work out.

A woman can NEVER have too many horses.....

here is where i go to check out reviews

I'm buying a new dressage saddle soon. i've found 2 that seem reasonable in price thats Thornhill and Heritage saddles from the UK

thornhill has models that start at 800 and go to 1500

Heritage will custom make you a saddle for around 1300 US$
everyone raves about the quality.

good luck :)
