Thoughs on Neoprene Smart Cinchs?

Ok so I have a smart cinch, just the plain old felt one and I love it. Im going to get one that's a bit smaller for my horse and I was wondering what your opinions are on neoprene ones? I here they are the best ones to have? But how are they on slippage because I hate knowing that im going to have cinch issues, and are they could cinches for barrels/poles?

I personally don't like any neoprene cinchs. They get hot and gall from my experience. Did anyone else notice they changed the smart buckle? I haven't used one but it looks like an improvement.

The buckles have changed? I havnt noticed lol, I also hear the more the horse sweats the tighter it stays on? Is that true to?

Yes. The original buckle was round stock. The new one is cast. Not sure what you meen by "the more the horse sweats the tighter it stays on? "

Idk what that meant either, that's just what my friend told me so I was confused bout that to.. I think she means like the more the horse would sweat the cinch would get a better grip? I think that's what she meant but not sure

Hmmm with that theory, that explains the galling.

So I know people say cheaper isnt always better but I found a cinch and its the Tough-1 Snuggit EZ Breather Double Roller buckle one, are those better than the smart ones?
