Thoughs on Neoprene Smart Cinchs?

Ok so I have a smart cinch, just the plain old felt one and I love it. Im going to get one that's a bit smaller for my horse and I was wondering what your opinions are on neoprene ones? I here they are the best ones to have? But how are they on slippage because I hate knowing that im going to have cinch issues, and are they could cinches for barrels/poles?

I personally don't like any neoprene cinchs. They get hot and gall from my experience. Did anyone else notice they changed the smart buckle? I haven't used one but it looks like an improvement.

idk what that meant either, that's just what my friend told me so I was confused bout that to.. I think she means like the more the horse would sweat the cinch would get a better grip? I think that's what she meant but not sure
