I picked this saddle up at a tack sale. There's no maker's tag, other than the nail head, and a leather tag that reads "industria argentina". It looks like a decently made saddle, not top of the line, but not garbage. http://i1268.photobucket.com/albums/...-39-16_147.jpg
The Argentine saddles were the first economy saddles imported into north america. The quality was decent, the saving was on the labor costs. We don't see as many because of all the Asian built junk. My saddleseat is from Argentina and the leather is excellent, no rust on the hardware. The Pessoas are made in S. America.
