Toddler saddle?

So, it looks like I lucked out and my daughter inherited my horse crazy genes. She's been on the back of a horse several times now and she does her little happy dance when she see's me loading up the tack. She'll be turning 2 this year and I'm thinking she's ready for some really short, really low key lead line rides. Question is should I buy her a saddle or just let her to ride with a bigger saddle or bareback. Somebody will be walking along side her when we lead her horse around and I don't think she'll be up to riding without an adult by her for another couple of years. If I should buy her a saddle, any good brands out there that would be able to handle a wide horse? She'll be riding my appy for the most part and to say he's a chunk is an understatement.

I used a saddle like this that can be found on ebay:
Shires Bambino First Leadline Saddle Black 10 | eBay

There are others if you just type in "Leadline saddle" and they are in 10" or 12" sizes. I used 10" seat on my daughter until she was 4/5 years old and she's always been tall for her age. Depending on the toddler's relative size, you could use one until 5/6 years old. We even showed leadline in a couple of shows as hunt seat.

How cute and what a lucky girl!

If you are comfortable with her going bareback there are many pads that have a very pronounced hand grip which might aid her in staying on.

Also, my personal preference for children... wintec has really cheap lead line kids saddles that has an adjustable fit (velcro panels) so it should work on your tubby appy or any future ponies? lol :) Also, the hand grip is more of a bar which I think kids have an easier time holding onto vs. a saddle horn.

Have fun with your daughter!
