Smile Training a young horse with a rope halter?

What do you think are the benefits of training a young horse with a rope halter? We found this good site where you can download a video on how to make one...check it out Rope-Halter - Natural Horse Halters, Horse Training Method - Greymouth

I have used one on my yearling and I get more response from it than a regular halter. I am careful with it not to pull to much but I would use it. Thanks for the website.

I love rope halters. Its the only halter my horse respects. The little knots over the nose are more effective than a stud chain for him. Of course don't abuse the added help it can bring and it can be a great tool!
