Tucker Tack Quality

So... I recently got a good deal on a bridle, but the leather quality isn't all that impressive and the reins it came with were made from rubber. And by rubber, I mean they're like holding onto tires. There is positively no finesse to them, and it's even painful to hold them properly (bends my pinky too far back).

With this in mind, I've been keeping an eye out for a decent price on a new set of reins. In my various wanderings I found that Tucker Trail Saddles had some reins that looked like a decent price and come in a color scheme that will match my tack (black leather, brass hardware).

My only question is, will the leather quality be good? I know Tucker saddles are supposed to be pretty amazing... does the same apply to their leather tack? Does anyone have any experience with Tucker tack?

I'm a mounted Police Officer and we use the Tucker reins. As all Tucker products they are made very well.
